Our Story
Built From the Ground Up
Draft Construction started the way most good things do in Southwest Florida — with a guy who knew how to build, a crew that showed up, and a handshake. Jay founded Draft Construction to do one thing well: deliver the structural shell and site work that every project depends on.
Based out of North Fort Myers, we've grown from a small framing crew into a full-service general contractor handling everything from lot clearing to roof dry-in. We work with GCs who need a reliable shell sub, owner-builders who want someone they can trust, and homeowners who need storm damage repaired fast.
Every job we take on gets the same treatment — show up on time, build it right, pass inspection, move on. No excuses, no shortcuts. That's how we've built our reputation across Lee and Collier County.

Plan & Permit
We work with your architect and engineers or help you find them. Once plans are set, we handle the permitting process with the city.
We Build It
Our crew gets to work. Whether it's footers, block, framing, or roof — we keep the schedule tight and the site clean.
Final Walkthrough
Inspections pass, punch list gets handled, and we hand it over ready to go. Simple as that.
