Structural Shell Construction
Footers, slabs, block, framing, and roof systems — engineered for coastal performance.
What We Do
Draft Construction self-performs the full structural shell — from the first footer pour to the last sheet of dry-in. Our scope covers concrete footers and slabs, CMU block walls, wood framing, engineered truss systems, roof sheathing, and weatherproofing. Because the structure stays in our hands, we control the schedule, the rebar, the formwork, and the finish. Every shell is engineered for Florida wind load, flood elevation, and soil conditions, with hurricane straps, bond beams, and impact-rated openings detailed before we ever break ground.
Concrete & Foundations
Continuous footers, monolithic slabs, stem walls, and tie beams — engineered to soil report and poured by our own crews.
CMU Block Walls
Precision-laid concrete masonry with rebar, grout-fill, and bond beams sized to Florida wind load specs.
Framing & Truss Systems
Engineered lumber framing and crane-set trusses with strapping, sheathing, and uplift detailing per code.
Roof Dry-In
Full sheathing, underlayment, and weatherproofing — ready for your roofer or finished in-house.
